Sligo County Council Celebrates National Workplace Wellbeing Day & Launches Thrive App
The day recognised that every role matters and that supporting staff wellbeing is central to how the Council works and serves the people of Sligo.
As part of the day, Sligo County Council officially launched Thrive, a new internal communications app designed to improve access to information, strengthen connection between teams and support staff health, wellbeing and engagement. Thrive will play an important role in ensuring clear and inclusive communication for all employees, including those who are not desk-based, helping everyone feel informed, valued and connected.
The Council also announced the winner of its recent Wellness Logo Competition, with Aileen Noone selected for her winning design. The new logo will be featured across all Sligo County Council wellbeing branding going forward, helping to create a strong and consistent identity for workplace wellbeing initiatives.
Sligo County Council thanks all staff who participated in National Workplace Wellbeing Day, contributed to the Thrive pilot, and engaged in the organisation’s ongoing wellbeing initiatives.
