The following is an update provided by the Sligo National Roads Project Office in relation to the selection of a Preferred Option for the N17 Knock to Collooney [Atlantic Economic Corridor] Project.
N17 Knock to Collooney (AEC) Project - Update
Emerging Preferred Options - Update
Assessment and analysis is continuing with respect to establishing an emerging preferred option for the N17 between Knock and Collooney. In addition to other site surveys, this includes early site investigations, which are currently taking place at certain specific locations on all refined Feasible Options.
A further update will issue in February with respect to when an Emerging Preferred Option is likely to go on Public Display.
