Councillor Martin Connolly elected Cathaoirleach of Ballymote-Tobercurry Municipal District Cathaoirleach Councillor Martin Connolly with outgoing Cathaoirleach Councillor Michael Clarke

Councillor Martin Connolly has been elected Cathaoirleach of Ballymote-Tobercurry Municipal District at their Annual General meeting which was held on Monday 21st June.

Councillor Connolly’s nomination was proposed by Councillor Mullaney seconded by Councillor Mulvey and unanimously agreed.

In his address Councillor Connolly commended outgoing Cathaoirleach Councillor Michael Clarke for the manner in which he had caried out his duties over the last year, and said it was an honour to be elected by his colleagues to serve the people of the Municipal District.

Councillor Dara Mulvey was elected Leas Cathaoirleach of the Municipal District.
