Residential Estates Special Speed Limits Bye-Laws
ROAD TRAFFIC (SPECIAL SPEED LIMITS) (RESIDENTIAL ESTATES) COUNTY OF SLIGO BYE-LAWS, 2017
Notice is hereby given that Sligo County Council, in exercise of the powers vested in it by Section 9 of the Road Traffic Act, 2004 are introducing a special speed limit of 30km/h on public roads in certain Residential Housing Estates in County Sligo with effect from 1st January, 2018.
The primary purpose of these Bye-Laws is to improve road safety for the residents and the general public and to ensure road traffic speeds are appropriate to their environment.
