Conservation of Fuel and Energy
The requirements regarding conservation of fuel and energy are laid out in Part L of the Second Schedule to the Building Regulations 1997 (S.I. No. 497 of 1997) as amended.
The Council will require (at least) a summary of the Part L calculations prior to commencement. It will also require full Part L calculations and a full BER certificate on completion of the development.
