TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ROADS 
SECTION 75 OF THE ROADS ACT, 1993 
Part 8 Roads Regulations 1994 (SI No 119 of 1994) 

Notice is hereby given that Sligo County Council will close to public traffic, from Fish Quay junction with Lower Knox Street to Lower New Street junction with Quay Street in the Sligo Urban Area. 

This temporary road closure is necessary to facilitate Telecoms service connection works.  The period of closure is from 7 pm on Monday 13th April to 4.00 am on Thursday 16th April, 2026. 

The alternative route for traffic will be via Hyde Bridge R870 - R291 to N4 - Custom House QuayL-90161-0 to Quay Street L90153-0 - Lower New Street.
