Sligo County Council, with the County Sligo Biodiversity Working Group, are in the process of developing a Biodiversity Action Plan for the county. We are seeking your support to identify the key priorities and actions needed to protect nature and address biodiversity loss.

The County Sligo Biodiversity Working Group is a partnership between local government, state agencies, faming organisations, education and training agencies and biodiversity organisations.

The 4^th National Biodiversity Action Plan requires that all local authorities have a Biodiversity Action Plan in place by the end of 2026, to provide a structured approach to conserving biodiversity at the county level.  Your views on biodiversity and natural heritage will be used to develop priorities and actions to protect and restore nature.

Enniscrone Branch Library – Friday 12^th July, 13:00 – 16:00 (short talk at 15:30)
