TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ROADS

SECTION 75 OF THE ROADS ACT, 1993

Part 8 Roads Regulations 1994 (SI No 119 of 1994)

Notice is hereby given of the intention of Sligo County Council to close to public traffic, the Old Rosses Point Road, (L-3309-0) in the vicinity of the Main Pumping Station PSE3 along with Oyster Bay Road (L-3311-0) where it links onto the Old Rosses Point Road.  This proposed temporary road closure is necessary to facilitate construction works on the Rosses Point Sewerage Scheme.  The period of proposed closure is from Friday, 10th March, 2023 up to and including Friday, 14th April, 2023.

Local Access to be Provided.

The alternative route for traffic will be via the L-3311-0, L-7313-0 and R291-60

Any person aggrieved by the proposed closure may lodge a written objection setting out the grounds therefor with the Acting Director of Services, Infrastructural Services Section, Sligo County Council, Riverside, Sligo not later than 1pm on Tuesday, 28th February 2023.
