TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ROADS
SECTION 75 OF THE ROADS ACT 1993 AND PART 8 ROADS REGULATIONS, 1994 (SI NO.119 OF 1994)

This notice is the intention of the closure of L-90157-1 Lynn’s Place from its junction with L-90156-0 Emmet Place to its junction with the N4 Michael Conlon Road.

This temporary road closure is necessary to facilitate Farrans Construction Limited carry out LRP jobs on behalf of Uisce Eireann. Pedestrian route remains accessible during works.

The period of proposed closure 24hr from 24th August, 2026 28th August, 2026.

Alternative access Diversion via Union St, R292, N4, Custom House Quay & Lower Quay St. 

Any person aggrieved by the proposed closure may lodge a written objection setting out the grounds thereof with Mr. Jim Molloy, Director of Services, Climate & Infrastructure, Sligo County Council, Riverside, Sligo not later than 5pm on Tuesday 11th August, 2026.
