NOTICE UNDER THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT (PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT ACT) 2000 PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS 2001, PART 8 (ARTICLE 81) (AS AMENDED) Stephen Street car park

Notice is hereby given that Sligo County Council proposes to carry out works consisting of the provision of a cantilevered Public Space and access ramps at the Stephen Street car park, Rathquarter Td, Sligo. The proposed works will consist of:

  1. Construction of cantilevered platform (cantilevering approximately 3.6m beyond existing stone wall out over the Garvogue river bank).
  2. Construction of access ramps, low level walls and railings.
  3. All associated site development works.

Plans and particulars of the proposed development are available for inspection, or purchase at a fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making a copy, during Council office hours at:

Road Design Office, Sligo County Council, Market Yard, Sligo from;

Thursday 15th November 2018 to Friday 14th December 2018 (both dates inclusive).

Submissions or observations with respect to the proposed development, dealing with the proper planning and sustainable development of the area in which the development would be situate, may be made in writing to: Dorothy Clarke, Director of Planning, Community and Economic Development, Sligo County Council, City Hall, Quay Street, Sligo not later than; 4pm on Tuesday 8th January 2019.
