The works will commence on Monday 2^nd July at the section of road in front of St Mary’s College.  The scheme will involve resurfacing of 1.9km of the N59 road between Ballisodare Village and the Belladrehid Rail Bridge.  The work will be completed in sections and is expected to last for approximately 12 weeks

Traffic management will be in place and the road will be reduced to one lane.  Temporary traffic lights will be in place for the duration of the works.  Delays are expected and motorists are advised to use alternative routes were possible.

Sligo County Council regret the inconvenience caused while these essential works are being carried out.
