Casual Trading Bye-Laws 2018

Revised Casual Trading Bye-Laws for Sligo County Council have been adopted, outlining the control, regulation, supervision and administration of Casual Trading in the functional area of Sligo County Council.

The Bye-Laws designate the areas in which Casual Trading is permitted, outlines the conditions for trading, illustrates the Licensees responsibilities and also includes the introduction of an 'on-the-spot' fine for any breach of these Bye-Laws.

Some changes in the revised Bye-Laws include a wider choice of licences available to traders, including the option of Seasonal Licences at Enniscrone and Rosses Point, new trading bays at Doorly Park and Cleveragh Park and new Trial Licences.
