Heavy overnight rain has made driving conditions hazardous throughout the county, motorists and other road users are asked to take extra care on all routes.
Roads Update Monday 9th August 2021
R287 Sligo to Dromahair Road is flooded at the 'Long stretch' at Carraroe. The road is closed and diversions are in place.
Flooding on Drum Road and on Oxfield Road near junction with N15, passable with care, use alternative route if possible.
R284 between Geevagh and Conway's Cross passable with care.
Back Avenue at Cleveragh Retail Park Sligo flooded, passable with extreme care, use alternative route if possible.
