At its Annual General Meeting today, Friday 21st June, Councillor Declan Bree was proposed by Councillor Tom MacSharry, seconded by Councillor Nessa Cosgrove and unanimously agreed by all Members of Sligo County Council. He succeeds outgoing Cathaoirleach Councillor Gerard Mullaney.
Councillor Edel McSharry was elected Leas Cathaoirleach.
