Book of Condolence Opened in Memory of Tommie Gorman

The Cathaoirleach of Sligo County Council Councillor Declan Bree has opened a Book of Condolence in City Hall in memory of the late Tommie Gorman, who passed on Tuesday, 25th June, 2024.

Minister for Rural & Community Development Heather Humphreys and Deputy Frank Feighan, also joined Cathaoirleach Councillor Declan Bree for the opening of the book of condolence. 

On behalf of Sligo County Council's Elected Members and staff, the Cathaoirleach and Chief Executive Martin Lydon expressed their sympathies to Tommie's wife Ceara Roche and their two children Moya and Joe, to his sister Mary, his brother Michael, and to his extended family and friends, stating that the thoughts and prayers of the people of County Sligo were with Tommie's family at this difficult time.

The Book of Condolences will be available for signing by members of the public, Monday to Friday, 9 am until 5 pm for a period of two weeks.
