This once-off fund will be allocated under the Department’s Community Enhancement Programme. Accordingly, it builds on the most recent iteration of that scheme by providing funding to support groups, particularly in disadvantaged areas with;
• Non Pay Running Costs such as Electricity, Heating, Insurance, Lease/Rental.
• Capital Costs (Small Scale) such as premises repairs/upgrades and equipment purchases
There are 2 Steps involved in applying for funding to Sligo LCDC under the Community Support Fund
Step 1 – Groups must complete an online ‘Registration of Interest’ by Friday 10th February
To do this, groups must logon to a dedicated portal at www.sligococo.ie/grants where they will be asked to enter some important preliminary data and summary information
Only those who complete this online process will then subsequently be eligible to go forward to Step 2
Step 2 - Following an examination of all online ‘Registrations of Interest’ received, the groups concerned will then be contacted and asked to submit more detailed information.
The online Registration of Interest’ portal will open on Monday 30th January and close on Friday 10th February at 4:00pm sharp
