Community Participation at the Heart of Community Safety
A big thank you to everyone who stopped by the Sligo LCSP stand at the County Sligo Agricultural Show in Riverstown on 18 July 2026.
The event marked the beginning of our public consultation for the development of Sligo's Community Safety Plan and provided a valuable opportunity to hear directly from members of the community. We were delighted to engage with residents, families, community groups, local businesses and visitors who shared their views, ideas and concerns about community safety in County Sligo.
Your input will help shape a Community Safety Plan that reflects the experiences and priorities of communities across the county.
There's still time to have your say by completing the Community Safety Survey.
