COVID-19 - Housing Department Continuity Plan

Access to Housing Counter (Updated on 23/12/2020)

Following the announcement by the Government of Covid 19 level 5 restrictions from midnight on 24th December, Sligo County Council advise that its offices will be open to the public after the Christmas holidays on Monday 4th January, but with restricted access. In the interests of public health and safety, access to Sligo County Council’s Housing Department in County Hall will be ‘by appointment only’

All enquiries in relation to the making of an appointment should be made by calling 071 911 1207, 071 911 1213 or 071 911 1215 during office hours between 9am and 5pm.

Homeless Services

The daily homeless drop-in clinic is not in operation until further notice. Please make contact by email or telephone as above if you are experiencing an urgent homeless situation or an imminent risk of homelessness. This number will be in operation each weekday from 10am-3pm. Outside of these hours, please contact Sligo Social Services at 071 916 1688. Where possible, arrangements should be extended with family, friends or current accommodation providers to prevent homelessness.
