Sligo County Council is delighted to be a Project Partner in the Arctic Edge Project, led by the AIM Centre, Sligo.
Supply Chain Integration for Interoperability & Enhanced Resilience of SMEs in remote regions
The Arctic Edge project aims to enhance efficiency, resilience, and adaptability in SMEs' supply chain operations in the Northern Periphery and Arctic (NPA) Region using digitalization. It will develop and implement a cloud-based, IoT, and MQTT technology-driven solution for rural manufacturing NPA SMEs, aiming to optimise supply chain processes.
The project seeks to revolutionise supply chain practices within the NPA region by introducing innovative technologies and promoting their widespread application, particularly among rural manufacturing SMEs.
Funding & Duration
The project is funded by the European Union, and Interreg Northern Periphery and Arctic programme to the value of €1,586.515. It runs from September 2024 - August 2027.
