CLÁR

  1. To confirm the Minutes of the Meeting of the Municipal District of Ballymote-Tobercurry held on 17th September 2018 (Copy attached and posted on extranet).
  2. Matters Arising.
  3. Update on Discovery Centre at Ireland West Airport Knock.

 

DEFERRED MOTIONS

  1. To consider the following motion as submitted by Councillor J. Lundy:
    “To request a pedestrian crossing and speed ramps on road 443 in the village of Cloonacool in the interest of road safety and to slow down traffic”.
  2. To consider the following motion as submitted by Councillor J. Lundy:
    “To request road re-surfacing and drainage works to be carried out in the village of Aclare, road 401, as soon as possible”.
  3. To consider the following Motion as submitted by Councillor J. Lundy:
    “To ask the Council to provide an update from the HSE regarding the Health Centre in Tubbercurry and to ask that road and car-park repairs be also carried out”.

 

MOTIONS

  1. To consider the following Motion as submitted by Councillor D. Mulvey:
    “To call on Sligo County Council to examine what remedial works can be carried out at the junction at Carrigans Lwr, Ballymote to allow landowners to get deliveries in and out of their farm.”
  2. To consider the following Motion as submitted by Councillor M. Gormley:
    “To call for improvements to be carried out at Powellsborough Cross to improve sightlines for those exiting onto the R294 and turning right for Tubbercurry”.
  3. To consider the following Motion as submitted by Councillor M. Gormley:
    “To ask the Director of Services have the Council made an application for funding to upgrade sections of the R294 especially at Mullinabreena South and Knockalass and the R293 at Kilfree”?
  4. To consider the following Motion as submitted by Councillor M. Gormley:
    “Last March I requested a survey to be carried out of the structural soundness of the parapet wall of Oldrock Bridge on R296 to assess what works are required to make it safe as a number of gaps are appearing and the capping is damaged.  I am now asking that we be furnished with the report on what works are to be carried out”.
