- To confirm the Minutes of the Annual General Meeting of the Municipal District of Ballymote-Tobercurry held on 18th June 2018 (Copy attached and posted on extranet).
- To confirm the Minutes of the Meeting of the Municipal District of Ballymote-Tobercurry held on 25th June 2018 (Copy attached and posted on extranet).
- Matters Arising.
- To consider the Draft Multi-Annual Restoration Improvement Programme for 2019-2021 for Ballymote-Tobercurry Municipal District (Report to follow).
- To Consider the Progress Report on the implementation of the objectives of the Ballymote Local Area Plan 2012 – 2018 since its adoption in September 2012. (Reports attached and posted on extranet).
MOTIONS
- To consider the following motion as submitted by Councillor K. Henry:
“That repairs to the following roads be made this year and that they be included in the schedule of municipal works if necessary:- Local road from Ballymote to Templehouse at Camross and Rathdooney More
- Local road at Emlaghnaughton and Cloonkeevy
- R296 at Carrownanty from railway bridge”.
- To consider the following motion as submitted by Councillor D. Mulvey:
“To ask Sligo County Council to carry out repairs on the bad section of road at Eagles Flying on road L1603”. - To consider the following Motion as submitted by Councillor K. Henry:
“To ask Sligo County Council for an update on the following previous motions adopted by this Municipal District:- Installation of signage at the Five Crossroads, Cloonkeavy indicating the direction of Ballymote and Tubbercurry.
- Prevention of dumping on Bog Line, Drumfin”.
- To consider the following Motion as submitted by Councillor D. Mulvey:
“To ask Sligo County Council for an update on the taking in charge of Radharc na hAbhainn Estate, Coolaney in light of my motion in January of this year on this estate. Have all the outstanding works been completed?” - To consider the following Motion as submitted by Councillor J. Lundy:
“To request a pedestrian crossing and speed ramps on road 443 in the village of Cloonacool in the interest of road safety and to slow down traffic”. - To consider the following Motion as submitted by Councillor J. Lundy:
“To request road re-surfacing and drainage works to be carried out in the village of Aclare, road 401, as soon as possible”. - To consider the following Motion as submitted by Councillor J. Lundy:
“To ask the Council to provide an update from the HSE regarding the Health Centre in Tubbercurry and to ask that road and car-park repairs be also carried out”. - To consider the following Motion as submitted by Councillor M. Gormley:
“At the April meeting of the Council I called for measures to be put in place to reduce speed on the N17 from North Connacht College via Circular Road to the Ballina Road junction. The response I received was that the Council would discuss the matter with the Regional Safety Inspector of TII with a view to getting funding for a safety scheme which could be incorporated into the works proposed north of Tubbercurry. Will this be part of the works due to take place shortly on the N17?” - To consider the following Motion as submitted by Councillor M. Gormley:
“To request Sligo County Council to provide speed ramps on the R296 between Flowerhill Estate and Bunninadden N.S and also on the approach to the village from the Tubbercurry side as there are serious concerns from residents as to the speed through the village”. - To consider the following Motion as submitted by Councillor M. Gormley:
- “That works be carried out on the Cloonacool road at the railway crossing, also sections to the edge of the road where its ravelling and that this road be part of the Road Work Scheme 2019.
- That works be carried out to remove the depression on the Templehouse road between Templehouse Bridge and the turn off for Ballymote in the interest of safety”

“To request the provision of a pedestrian crossing at Ardkeerin, Riverstown”. - Correspondence
