DEFERRED MOTIONS

  1. To consider the following Motion as submitted by Councillor J. Lundy:
    “Civil Servants reveal huge demand for relocation outside Dublin. I am asking that Tubbercurry would be looked at again for a Government Department to relocate to in the interest of the local economy”.

 

MOTIONS

  1. To consider the following Motion as submitted by Councillor K. Henry:
    “To ask that the L56042, Corhober be included in future schedule of Municipals Works for surface dressing and pothole repair be carried out as soon as possible”.
  2. To consider the following Motion as submitted by Councillor K. Henry:
    “To ask for a report on the works needed to be carried out on the concrete bridge on L5405-0 in Kilmorgan/Cams following a request for it to be inspected November last”.
  3. To consider the following Motion as submitted by Councillor D. Mulvey:
    “I am calling on Sligo County Council and the HSE regarding what plans are in place to upgrade and finish the walk way leading down to Corran Community Park at Earlsfield, Ballymote in light of the completion of the new Primary Health Care Centre which is now open in Ballymote. This route will be safe for walkers of all ages and those attending football training and matches in Corran Park, Ballymote”.
  4. To consider the following Motion as submitted by Councillor J. Lundy:
    “To ask the Council to explore the possibility of providing a car park at Rhue Graveyard, and an extension of the graveyard at Rhue, Tubbercurry as this graveyard is used by 3 parishes – Tubbercurry, Tourlestrane and Curry”.
  5. To consider the following Motion as submitted by Councillor J. Lundy:
    “To ask the Council to provide a gully at the lower end of the car park at Kilmactigue Church as water from this car park is causing flooding on the road side and the adjoining lands”.
  6. To consider the following Motion as submitted by Councillor J. Lundy:
    “I will ask for an update on the roll out of the national broadband plan”.
  7. To consider the following Motion as submitted by Councillor M. Gormley:
    “That repairs are carried out on the Kilfree Road (500) and the Lisananny road (478) as soon as possible as they are in a dangerous state with potholes”.
  8. To consider the following Motion as submitted by Councillor M. Gormley:
    “As the TII have measures in place to control and treat the Japanese Knotweed along National Roads, what plans have the council in place to control and treat same on regional and local roads?”.
  9. To consider the following Motion as submitted by Councillor M. Gormley:
    “What progress has been made on the provision of bus shelters on the N17 Circular Road, Tubbercurry as at the September meeting of the council we were informed that the possibility of including bus shelters at this location was been investigated?”
