  1. To consider the following Motion as submitted by Councillor J. Lundy:
    “I will ask for update of safety measures at the Holy Family N.S. Tubbercurry and if a pedestrian crossing can be installed between the Church and the School /Sofia/Convent on this road R294 Ballymote Road Tubbercurry in the interest of safety”
  2. To consider the following Motion as submitted by Councillor J. Lundy:
    “That this Council looks at all areas where services can be expanded and enhanced at Teach Laighne in Tubbercurry including the Library and the Motor Tax Office”

  1. To consider the following Motion as submitted by Councillor J. Queenan:
    “To ask the Director of services to outline how the proposed future funding on N59 from Dromore West to the Mayo border will be spent ”
  2. To consider the following Motion as submitted by Councillor J. Queenan:
    “To ask the Director of Service to indicate how many miles of class 2 and 3 roads need to be upgraded”
  3. To consider the following Motion as submitted by Councillor K. Henry:
    “To ask Sligo County Council if additional lighting can be installed out the Gurteen / Creamery Road, Ballymote.  An additional one or two lights would greatly improve the current situation.”
  4. To consider the following Motion as submitted by Councillor J. Lundy:
    “That this Council calls on the Minister and the Department of Foreign Affairs to again explore the possibility of opening a passport office in Tubbercurry to serve the people of the West and Northwest of Ireland”

    “To ask the Environment Section of Sligo County Council to address the ongoing problem of illegal dumping along road no. 445 between Corsallagh and Sessuecommon, in the interest of health, and the promotion of tourism in South Sligo”

    “To ask Sligo County Council to repair the old damaged wall on road L2101 at Ardcotton on the Coolaney to Collooney road as there are large loose stones falling out onto the road.”

    “To ask Sligo County Council to see if traffic calming measures can be put in place on the Keenaghan road in Ballymote due to large volume of traffic on this road as there are 2 large housing estates in this area and concerns have been expressed by some residents that exiting their homes has become more dangerous”

    1. “That the council put measures in place on R294 at St Attracta’s Community School to improve safety for those exiting from the carpark”

    “That action be taken on the dumping and burning of rubbish which is taking place at a number of vacant houses in Connolly Park”

    “That the removal of undulations on RD 474 at Woodhill and at Cloonahinshin on R296 be included in the road work scheme 2017”

    “To ask if the wall on the bridge along Road No.513 in Cloonacool could be lowered in the interest of road safety, as cars exiting the Church cannot see traffic coming from the right (Coolaney road)”
