- To consider the following motion as submitted by Councillor D. Mulvey
“To ask Sligo County Council to address the issue of surface water on road L-6804-0 at Rockfield, Coolaney, as residents are having difficulty accessing their homes with the large volume of water lodging on this section of road”.
- To consider the following motion as submitted by Councillor E. Scanlon
“To ensure that Sligo County Council apply to the Department of the Environment for sufficient funds to ensure that there is ample funding to deal with the serious damage that has been caused by recent storms to our local county road”.
- To consider the following motion as submitted by Councillor J. Queenan
“To ask the Enforcement Staff of Sligo County Council if they are satisfied that development in the car-park of the Diamond Coast Hotel, Enniscrone complies with all Planning Regulations”.

“Ask the Director of Services to outline how much funding has been allocated by the Department towards class 1, 2 and 3 roads in the county for 2016”.

To ask Sligo County Council to arrange to get amber flashing lights cleaned at the Pedestrian crossing main Street Tubbercurry in the interest of safety as they are not visible to motorists.

To ask Sligo County Council has there been any update on the issue of safety for traffic exiting on to L1502 from Coláiste Muire Secondary School Ballymote.

“To ask for the up-to-date position on when the replacement of the cast iron pipe serving 23 houses which are on a boiled notice since last May in the Keash area (Ardsallagh to Feenaghroe) will be replaced”.

“I request that we suspend standing orders to allow a presentation from the Achonry Action Committee re; the proposed transfer of the Butter Packing Facility to Mitchelstown at our Municipal District meeting on Monday 15th February”.

“This Council calls on Telecom Eireann, now “Eir” to remove/relocate all dangerous Eircom poles from along roadsides and housefronts in County Sligo. They (Eir) put them there and they are their property. This to be carried out in the interest of road safety”.

“To ask the Council what plans are in place for the Taking in Charge of “Meadowbrook Estate” on the Mountain Road in Tubbercurry.

“I will ask the Council to work in partnership with the REDZ Committee to have the Children’s playground on the Mountain Road in Tubbercurry reopened as a matter of urgency, as it is falling into total disrepair and is an eyesore in the community”.

“To ask Sligo County Council to carry out repairs to surface water drains at Monasteraden. Also to carry out repairs to road at Tawnymulagh due to damage caused by blockage in said drains.
This is fast becoming a health and safety issue as the entrance to the road is collapsing due to blockage in drains”.
