ITEM 1; ELECTION OF MEMBER TO GOVERNING BODY OF NUI, GALWAY: 

Proposed by Councillor J. Sherlock
Seconded by Councillor P. Barry

AND AGREED

“That Sligo County Council hereby elects Councillor Aidan Colleary as the representative of Sligo County Council on the Governing Body of the National University of Ireland, Galway for the four year period commencing on the 1st February, 2009, i.e. up to and including 31st January, 2013.

“That a vote of sympathy be extended to Mr Enda Gilvarry, Housing Section on the death of his Father, John”.

“That a vote of sympathy be extended to Mr Peter McCarrick, Planning Section on the death of his Grandfather, Harry”.

“That a vote of sympathy be extended to Catherine O’Donovan, Roads Section on the death of her Mother, Mrs Annie Cawley”.
