Councillor Declan Bree was been elected Cathaoirleach of Sligo County Council, at its Annual General Meeting on, Friday 21st June.

Councillor Bree was proposed by Councillor Tom MacSharry, seconded by Councillor Nessa Cosgrove and unanimously agreed by all Members of the Council.  He succeeds outgoing Cathaoirleach Councillor Gerard Mullaney.
