- “To ask the County Manager what, if anything (in addition to attendance at a meeting with the owners of Lissadell) he and his staff have done to resolve the crisis at Lissadell pursuant to the Council’s motion of January 2009 and in particular to ask the County Manager to specify the number of days over and above the time specified for the delivery of a defence to the High Court proceedings between the owners of Lissadell and the Council, the Council is in default of doing same and why?”

“With the ever increasing numbers of families facing the prospect of unemployment and many more faced with increasing costs of private healthcare, I am proposing that the Minister for Social and Family Affairs and the HSE should ensure that applications for General Medical Service Cards are processed with greater urgency and decisions on assessments issued in shorter space of time.” - To consider the following motion as submitted by Councillor M.
