- To approve in accordance with Part 8 of the Local Government (Planning and Development) Regulations, 2001, the proposed construction of a new Storm Waste Water Pumping Station in the townlands of Carrowgubbadagh and Drumiskibbole, County Sligo. (report attached)

To request Sligo Local Authorities to make an application to the National Roads Authority to construct a Pedestrian Bridge on the Inner Relief Road at the Junction with John Street and Churchill. A pedestrian bridge is necessary to enable easier access across the road.

“Recognising the fact that of the total €13,468,000 collected in Development Levies in the period April 2004 to October 2008, that the Sligo/Drumcliffe area has received €6,720,000; that the Tubbercurry area has received €1,000,000; that the Ballymote area has received €1,344,000; that the Dromore West area has received €2,561,000.and that the Sligo/Strandhill area has only received the sum of €261,000; this Council hereby resolves that the development of a multi-sports surface at Strandhill Community Park be a priority in terms of the distribution of funding from the Development Contribution Scheme in 2009 and that a sum of €60,000 be allocated from the Scheme in 2009 towards the cost of the multi-sports surface.” - To consider the following motion as submitted by Councillor M.
