  6. JPC Strategic Plan 2017 – 2022: Update on actions
  7. Notice received of issues to be raised:
    1. Received from Councillor Marie Casserly;
      1. 'To propose to ask the Ministers for Justice, Finance and DPER to allow for the “Proceeds of Crime” monies seized by the Gardaí be redistributed to community frontline organisations dealing directly with victims of crime in County Sligo' 
      2. That this Committee seek a detailed report from an Garda Síochána outlining current action and future plans to tackle the use of illegal drugs in Sligo.
    2. Received from Councillor Thomas Healy
      To ask that Sligo Garda and the local authorities Dog Warden would do a joint operation on carry out Road checks within the county to deter the theft of dogs which has increased over the last number of months

    1. Email from Sligo Cycling Campaign dated 29th June 2020 re: request for JPC to discuss road safety post Covid-19.
    2. Letter dated 21st July 2020 from the Office of the Garda Commissioner’s Private Secretary in reply to a resolution passed at 6th July 2020 Sligo County Council meeting re: Sligo Garda Station.
