Ambulance
For a vehicle to be classified as an Ambulance and obtain exemption from tax, the vehicle must carry a stretcher and medical equipment and have seats for medical staff, the purpose of an ambulance is to carry sick/injured persons to places of assistance, ie hospital, the vehicle must be marked Ambulance and have appropriate sirens.
- Application form RF100a - Motor Tax Renewal Form (PDF) - 738 kbs must be fully completed and signed ensuring valid insurance details are entered
- Current Roadworthiness Certificate – tested every year
