Sligo County Council wishes to advise the public that a section of the roadway known as Fish Quay (L-90151-0) will be made one-way northwards as part of the O'Connell Street Enhancement Project Phase 02 Works with effect from 18:00 on Thursday 14th April.

The street will facilitate one-way traffic only in a northerly direction from Lower Knox Street as far north as the vehicular entrance to The Glasshouse Hotel (i.e. traffic will no longer be permitted to exit from Fish Quay on to Lower Knox Street).

The remaining section of Fish Quay (from its junction with Quay Street as far as the vehicular entrance to The Glasshouse Hotel) will remain open to two-way traffic.

This traffic flow alteration is required to facilitate the enhancement of pedestrian facilities along Fish Quay.
