TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ROADS

SECTION 75 OF THE ROADS ACT, 1993

Notice is hereby given of the decision of Sligo County Council to implement a temporary phased 24hr Road Closure between the 12^th of September 2022 and the 24^th of February 2023 on the Old Rosses Point Road (L-3309-0) and Oyster Bay Upper Rosses Road (L-3311-0) to facilitate the Construction of Rosses Point Sewerage Scheme. 

Programmed Dates and Period of Road Closures are as follows:

Phase 1 – 12^th of September until the 11^th of October 2022

Closure of 210m along the Rosses upper/ Oyster Bay Road (L-3311-0) between the junction with Bay View (L-7314-0) and the Old Rosses Point Road (L-3309-0). Closure of 170m along the Old Rosses Point Road (L-3309-0) between the junction at Bay View Stores and the Junction of Pumping Station (PSE3) (L-3311-1). Closure of Road L-3311-1 between Its junction with the R291-60 and the Old Rosses Point Road (L-3309-0).

Phase 2 – 28^th of September until the 24^th of November 2022

Closure of 270m along the Old Rosses Point Road (L-3309-0) between the Driftwood and the junction at Bay View Stores.

Phase 3 – 9^th of November until the 8^th of December 2022

Closure of 85m along the Old Rosses Point Road (L-3309-0) between the junction with Radharc Na Rí and the Driftwood.

Phase 4 – 21^st of November until the 17^th of January 2023

Closure of 160 m along the Old Rosses Point Road (L-3309-0) between the junction with Colmcille Drive (L-33093-0) and the junction with Radharc Na Rí.

Phase 5 – 2^nd of January until the 8^th of February 2023

Closure of 190m along Colmcille Drive (L-33093-0) with its junction with the Old Rosses Point Road (L-3309-0).

Diversions will be in place.  Emergency Access will be available.
