Temporary Closing of Roads

Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993

Part 8 Roads Regulations 1994 (SI  No. 119 of 1994)

Notice is hereby given of the intention of Sligo County Council to close to public traffic, the L3603-17 from its junction with the Old Dublin Road, L3608 and its junction with the R284 at Jinks Cross.

This proposed road closure will be in force between Monday, 14^th August, 2023 and Friday, 3^rd November, 2023 inclusive and is necessary to facilitate new water main installation on behalf of Uisce Eireann.

Access for emergency vehicles will be accommodated at all times.

Alternative route for traffic will be via the L3608, Old Dublin Road and the R284 in both directions.

Any persons aggrieved by the proposed closure may lodge a written objection setting out the grounds therefor with Ms. Emer Concannon, A/Director of Services, Infrastructural Services Section, Sligo County Council, Riverside, Sligo and received not later than 5.00 p.m. on Wednesday, 26^th July, 2023.
