The period of closure is from Thursday, 26th January, 2023 up to and including Tuesday, 28th February, 2023.

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ROADS

SECTION 75 OF THE ROADS ACT, 1993

Part 8 Roads Regulations 1994 (SI No 119 of 1994)

Notice is hereby given of the decision of Sligo County Council to close to public traffic, the L 7309-0 at Ballinvoher from its junction with the R291 to its junction with the L 7316-0 at Ballinvoher.  This temporary road closure is necessary to facilitate construction works on the Rosses Point Sewerage Scheme.  The period of closure is from Thursday, 26th January, 2023 up to and including Tuesday, 28th February, 2023.

Local Access to be Provided.

The alternative route for traffic will be via the N15, the L 7316-0 and onto the R291 and visa versa.
