Temporary Closing of Roads

Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993

Part 8 Roads Regulations 1994 (SI  No. 119 of 1994)

Notice is hereby given of the decision of Sligo County Council to close to public traffic, the L3406 Drum Road from its junction with the N16 for a distance of approximately 250m west of the junction with the N16/L3406.

This temporary road closure will be in force between 8 am on Monday, 22^nd January, 2024 and 8am on Monday, 5^th February, 2024 inclusive and is necessary to facilitate construction of new junction tie in as part of the N16 Lugatober Scheme.

Alternative route for traffic will be via the N16 and N15 in both directions.
