Temporary Road Closure - Duneill

The period of closure is from 8am on Tuesday, 5th August, 2025 up to and including 8am on Friday, 20th February, 2026.

SECTION 75 OF THE ROADS ACT, 1993

Notice is hereby given of the decision of Sligo County Council to close to public traffic, the L-2702-0 from its junction with the N59 to its junction with the L-6706-18 at Cloonascoffagh West to Duneill,  in the Townlands of Dromore, Lecarrow, Farranmacfarrell and Rathgoonaun)

This temporary road closure is necessary to facilitate watermain upgrade works on behalf of Uisce Eireann.  The period of closure is from 8am on Tuesday, 5th August, 2025 up to and including 8am on Friday, 20th February, 2026.

Local Access to be Provided.

The alternative route for traffic will be via the N59, L6702-0 (56) and L6706-18 (51) and vice versa.
