Temporary closing of roads

Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993

Part 8 Roads Regulations 1994 (SI No. 119 of 194)

Notice is hereby given that Sligo County Council has decided as a matter of urgency, to close to public traffic, the L3309 Old Rosses Point Road at its junction with “The Line” L3310 to its junction with the L3309-3 at Colmcille Drive.  This emergency temporary road closure is necessary to facilitate installation of drainage gullies.

Local access will be provided.

The alternative route for traffic will be via the R291, L3309 and L3311 and vice versa.

The period of closure will be daily from 7.30am on Monday, 23^rd October, 2023 to 5.30pm on Friday, 10^th November, 2023 inclusive.
