In pursuance of the provisions of section 20 (2) of the FINANCE (LOCAL PROPERTY TAX) ACT 2012 (as amended), notice is hereby issued that Sligo County Council has passed a resolution at a meeting held on 7th of October 2024 to the effect that the basic rate of local property tax should stand varied upwards by an increase of 15% for the year’s 2025 to 2029 - 1st November 2024 to 31st October 2029, in respect of relevant residential properties situated in this local authority’s administrative area with effect from the liability date of 1st November 2024.
