TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ROADS
SECTION 75 OF THE ROADS ACT, 1993
PART 8 ROADS REGULATIONS 1994 (SI NO. 119 OF 1994)

Notice is hereby given of the intention of Sligo County Council to close to public traffic

Humbert Street in Tubbercurry from it’s junction with the N17 to it’s junction with Wolfe Tone Square,  The Lane (L8705-29) from its junction with the N17 to Wolfe Tone Square, Wolfe Tone Square (North and West sides) and Mountain Road (L4502-0) from junction with the R294 to a point 200 metres southeast of said junction.

It is proposed that these temporary road closures will be in force between 7.00am and 10.00pm on Wednesday, 13^th August, 2025 and are necessary to facilitate the holding of the Old Fair Day Festival in Tubbercurry.

Alternative routes will be along the N17 Relief Road from junction of Humbert Street to its junction with the R294.

Any person aggrieved by the proposed closures may lodge a written objection setting out the grounds therefor with Mr. Jim Molloy, Director of Services, Climate and Infrastructure, Sligo County Council, Riverside, Sligo and received not later than 1pm on Wednesday, 23^rd July, 2025.
