This proposed road closure will be in force from 07:00 on Monday, 27th November, 2023 and 19:00 on Friday, 22nd December, 2023 inclusive.

Temporary Closing of Roads

Notice is hereby given of the intention of Sligo County Council to close to public traffic, the L7509 from its junction with the L3601 at Oakfield to its junction with the L7511 at Breeogue.

This proposed road closure will be in force from 07:00 on Monday, 27th November, 2023 and 19:00 on Friday, 22nd December, 2023 inclusive and is necessary to facilitate new water main installation on behalf of Uisce Eireann.

Local access will be maintained for residents and emergency vehicles at all times.

Alternative route for traffic will be via the L7511, L3508, L9406, R869 and L3601 in both directions.

Any persons aggrieved by the proposed closure may lodge a written objection setting out the grounds therefor with Ms. Emer Concannon, A/Director of Services, Infrastructural Services Section, Sligo County Council, Riverside, Sligo and received not later than 12 noon. on Tuesday, 14th November, 2023.
