TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ROADS
SECTION 75 OF THE ROADS ACT, 1993
Part 8 Roads Regulations 1994 (SI No 119 of 1994)

Notice is hereby given of the intention of Sligo County Council to close to public traffic, the L-2702-0 from its junction with the N59 to its junction with the L-6706-18 at Cloonascoffagh West to Duneill,  in the Townlands of Dromore, Lecarrow, Farranmacfarrell and Rathgoonaun)

This proposed temporary road closure is necessary to facilitate watermain upgrade works on behalf of Uisce Eireann.  The period of proposed closure is from 8am on Tuesday, 5^th August, 2025 up to and including 8am on Friday, 20^th February, 2026.

Local Access to be Provided.

The alternative route for traffic will be via the N59, L6702-0 (56) and L6706-18 (51) and vice versa.

Any person aggrieved by the proposed closure may lodge a written objection setting out the grounds therefor with the Director of Services, Climate and Infrastructure, Sligo County Council, Riverside, Sligo not later than 4pm on Tuesday, 15th July, 2025.
