SLIGO COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ROADS
SECTION 75 OF THE ROADS ACT, 1993
Part 8 Roads Regulations 1994 (SI No 119 of 1994)

Notice is hereby given of the intention of Sligo County Council to close to public traffic, the L-58025 at Cloonagh for a distance of 400 metres to its junction with the L-5608 at Knockoconnor.

This proposed road closure is necessary to facilitate the installation of a new water main on behalf of Keash Group Water Supply Scheme. The period of proposed closure is from 8am on Monday, 7th October, 2024 up to and including 5pm on Friday, 18th October, 2024.

Local Access to be Provided.

The alternative route for traffic will be via the L-56081 at Cloonagh.

Any person aggrieved by the proposed closure may lodge a written objection setting out the grounds therefor with the Acting Director of Services, Infrastructural Services Section, Sligo County Council, Riverside, Sligo not later than 5pm on Tuesday, 17th September, 2024.
