TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ROADS
SECTION 75 OF THE ROADS ACT, 1993
PART 8 ROADS REGULATIONS 1994 (NO. 119 OF 1994)

Notice is hereby given of the intention of Sligo County Council to close to public traffic the following
roads:

Proposed Temporary Road Closure No. 1

R277 Airport Road from the entrance to Strandhill Caravan Park to Sligo Airport with ticketed 
attendee access only.

Proposed Temporary Road Closure No.2 

L-7505-0 road closure from the entrance to Waterside Lane to the start of the Loop Walk.
It is proposed to temporarily close these roads from 10.00 to 17.00 on Sunday, 28th July, 2024 to
facilitate the holding of an Air Show at Sligo Airport.
Local access only will be provided.

Any person aggrieved by the proposed closures may lodge a written objection setting out the 
grounds therefor with Ms. Emer Concannon, Acting Director of Services, Infrastructural Services 
Section, Sligo County Council, Riverside, Sligo, and received not later than 5.00 p.m. on Wednesday, 
3rd July, 2024.
