Temporary Closing of Roads

Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993

Part 8 Roads Regulations 1994 (SI  No. 119 of 1994)

Notice is hereby given of the intention of Sligo County Council to close to public traffic, the L7413 at Lugatober from its junction with the N16 for a distance of approximately 260m west of the junction with the N16.

This proposed temporary road closure will be in force between 8 am on Tuesday, 27^th February, 2024 and 7pm on Tuesday, 19^th March, 2024 inclusive and is necessary to facilitate construction of a new junction tie in as part of the N16 Lugatober Scheme.

Alternative route for traffic going south will be via the N16, L3406 Drum Road, L7412, and L7413.  Alternative route for traffic going north will be via N16, L3404, L3403/40, L7412 and L7413.

Local access will be maintained to residents, landowners and emergency services.

Any persons aggrieved by the proposed closure may lodge a written objection setting out the grounds therefor with Ms. Emer Concannon, A/Director of Services, Infrastructural Services Section, Sligo County Council, Riverside, Sligo and received not later than 10.00 am on Wednesday, 7^th February, 2024.
