Appointment of Chairperson to the new Local Community Safety Partnerships for County Sligo
New Local Community Safety Partnerships are being established in each Local Authority area in line with the Policing, Security and Community Safety Act 2024. These new Partnerships will build on and replace the existing Joint Policing Committees (JPCs) and will provide a forum for State agencies and local community representatives to work together at local level to act on community concerns. This will facilitate a more holistic forum for discussion, decisions and action on community priorities.
Due to a Technical Issue with the e-mail address provided, Sligo County Council has extended the deadline for submission of expressions of interest for consideration for appointment as Chairperson of the new Local Community Safety Partnership for County Sligo.
Expressions of interest should be submitted to LCSP@sligococo.ie not later than 5.00pm on Wednesday, 31st July, 2024.
Please note that any expressions of interest previously submitted should be re-submitted as they may not have been received due to the technical issue with the e-mail address.
