Extension of Temporary Road Closure – Old Rosses Point Road (L-3309-0)

Notice is hereby given of the decision of Sligo County Council to extend the temporary road closure on the Old Rosses Point Road (L-3309-0) from the junction with local road

L-3311-1 in the vicinity of the Main Pumping Station PSE3. This temporary road closure is necessary to facilitate construction works at the Main Pumping Station PSE3.  The period of closure is extended up to and including Friday, 26th May, 2023.

Local Access to be Provided:

Access to residents will be maintained by opening of the closed access onto the R291-60. The junction was closed with bollards.   On re-opening of the section of the Old Rosses Point Road (L-3309-0) from the junction with local road L-3311-1, the access closure on the L-3309-0 at the junction with the R291-60 will be reinstated as per prior to the Works.
