In accordance with the provisions of the Housing (Traveller Accommodation) Act, 1998, I wish to advise that Sligo County Council has prepared a Draft Traveller Accommodation Programme 2025 – 2029 to replace the existing Programme, which expires on 31^st December 2024.

The Draft Programme is available for public consultation from 1^st July 2024 – 30^th August 2024.

Members of the public can inspect the Draft Programme at the following locations:

• The offices of the Housing Section, County Hall, Riverside, Sligo
• The offices of Sligo County Council, Teach Laighne (One- Stop-Shop), Tubbercurry, Co. Sligo. (During the hours of 10.00am to 4.00pm, Monday to Friday, excluding holidays)
• Sligo Central Library, Stephen Street, Sligo (during their normal opening hours)
