Proposed Development Notice Under The Local Government (Planning And Development Regulations 2001, Part 8 (Article 81) (As Amended)

Notice is hereby given that the Council proposes to carry out works consisting of:

The construction of 4 no. one bedroom bungalows, two of which are semi-detached and two are detached, and 2no. two-bedroomed semi-detached bungalows , and all associated site development works, landscaping, and associated drainage including associated on site attenuation system, at Gormley Villas, Bunnanaddan, Co Sligo.

Sligo County Council has concluded from a preliminary examination, that there is no real likelihood of significant effects on the environment arising from the proposed development and that an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) is not required. Any person may, within 4 weeks from the date of this notice, apply to An Bord Pleanála for a screening determination as to whether the proposed development would be likely to have significant effects on the environment (ie. requires an EIA).

Plans and full particulars of the proposed development are available for inspection, or purchase at a fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making a copy, on line at or, during office hours at the Main Foyer, County Hall, Riverside, Sligo, from Tuesday 21th July to Wednesday 19th August 2020 (both dates inclusive). COVID-19 Protocols will be in place in the foyer of County Hall in terms of social distancing and self sanitizing procedures before and following any review of the Part 8 document that are on display.

Submissions or observations with respect to the proposed development, dealing with the proper planning and development of the area in which the development would be situate, may be made on-line by registering on the portal or in writing and submitted to the undersigned not later than on Wednesday 2nd September 2020
