The works will involve the realignment of the roadway (including relocation of the traffic calming islands), enhancement of the existing surface water drainage network, miscellaneous landscaping and civil works followed by resurfacing of the roadway. This scheme forms part of the Climate Adaption and Resilience Works programme for 2021.

The works will be carried out by John Kirrane Plant Hire on behalf of Sligo County Council and it is expected to take approximately 3 weeks to complete, weather permitting.

Traffic Management measures will be in place throughout the duration of the works. Minor delays can be expected.
