Spring into Action – A Community Learning Together

Spring into Action – A Community Learning Together

A two-day programme of events aimed at all ages will be held in the Abbeyquarter Centre and the Cranmore Community Co-Op workshop and community garden on 12th and 13th April 2022.

It will include taster sessions, information hubs, and fun activities to promote learning as an everyday experience that begins in the home and continues in the community.

Activities will include arts and crafts, music, sports, gardening tips, information on nutrition and signposts to accessing supports such as grinds and career guidance.  Two taster sessions on fishing will be provided on the Angling Stands on the Garavogue River.

Partners with the Regeneration Office on the day will include Abbeyquarter Community Centre, Cranmore Community Co-Op, Sligo Education Centre, Sligo Springboard Family Support Service, MSLETB, Sligo LEADER Partnership Company, Sligo Library, Foroige, Sligo Sport and Recreation Partnership, Inland Fisheries Ireland, Lifestart Childcare Sligo, and the newly formed Atlantic Technical University, formerly IT Sligo.
